TUSCO Limited
Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Government of India, had allocated 2000 MW of Ultra Mega Renewable Energy Power Parks (UMREPPs) to be developed in the state of U.P. The UMREPPs are to be developed through a SPV in the form of a JV Company between THDC India Limited (THDCIL) and Uttar Pradesh New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UPNEDA), a department of Government of U.P. Accordingly, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between THDCIL and UPNEDA was signed on 06.08.2020 for formation of a Joint Venture Company, which came to be known as TUSCO Limited.

600 MW UMREPP at Jhansi
MNRE has accorded in-principle approval to M/s TUSCO Ltd. for setting up 600 MW UMREPP at Tehsil Garautha in District Jhansi on 13.10.2020. The foundation stone for Jhansi Solar Project was laid by Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 19.11.2021. The land requirement for Jhansi Solar Park is 2700 acres and the area of land spreads across 8 villages namely Sujanpura, Jalalpura, Jaswantpura, Nadaura, Bararu, Pura, Khadaura and Moti Katra. The land for the solar project is being acquired on lease basis for 30 years.

MNRE has accorded in-principle approval to M/s TUSCO Ltd. for setting up 600 MW UMREPP at Tehsil Talbehat in District Lalitpur on 13.10.2020. The foundation stone for Lalitpur Solar Project was laid by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi on 04.03.2024. The land requirement for Lalitpur Solar Park is 2700 acres and the area of land spreads across the 9 villages namely Jharar, Kadesara Kalan, Barama Bihar, Shahpur, Sarkhadi, Pawa, Piprai, Talbehat Andar (Khandi) and Gevra-Gundera. The land for the solar project is being acquired on lease basis for 30 years.

800 MW UMREPP at Chitrakoot
MNRE has accorded in-principle approval to M/s TUSCO Ltd. for setting up 800 MW UMREPP at Tehsil Mau in District Chitrakoot on 18.08.2021. The foundation stone for Chitrakoot Solar Project was laid by Hon'ble Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi on 18.12.2023. The land requirement for Chitrakoot Solar Park is 3600 acres, and the area of land spreads across the 15 villages namely Kharagdah, Chhataini Mafi, Manka Chhataini, Gahur, Kotwa Mafi, Dondiya Mafi, Kataiya Dandi, Chharehara and Chachokhar, Usri Mafi, Bargrh, Atari Majara, Goiya Kalan, Goiya Khurd & Semra.

CSR
Corporate Social Responsibility
TUSCO Limited has been taking up different CSR activities since 2022-23 With SEWA-THDCIL, Rishikesh. More than 500 farmers, women & children are being benefited through these CSR works in different ways by providing skill development courses like Computer Training and Stitching for Project Affected families (PAF's) of the project, installing Health ATM's in District hospital, providing financial assistance to upcoming Athletes, promoting education in Project Affected Villages(PAV's) by assisting in infrastructure of different schools, distributing tricycle, blankets to vulnerable farmers of villages,etc. Apart from the above, 100 Solar Street Lights were also installed at various places under Ayodhya Solar City through UPNEDA.
