Aimed at promoting the employee fitness,a Marathon walk of 10 KM was organised for the employees of TUSCO Ltd. at Lucknow, Jhansi, Lalitpur and Chitrakoot on 30/3/2024 at 6 AM under "One Company One Fitness" Mantra.

Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for TUSCO Ltd.’s monumental 600 MW Lalitpur Solar Power Project located in Uttar Pradesh on 04.03.2024. This momentous occasion underscores THDC’s contribution to the nation’s unwavering commitment for harnessing of Renewable Energy and signifies a crucial step towards a greener and more sustainable future. This historic occasion was graced by Governor of Telangana Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Minister of Telangana Shri A. Revanth Reddy and Union Minister of Culture, Tourism & Development of North Eastern Region, Shri G. Kishan Reddy and other senior dignitaries of Government of India. Union Minister for Power and New & Renewable Energy, Shri R. K. Singh also joined the Prime Minister's programme in Adilabad, Telangana on 04.03.2024 from the POWERGRID substation in Maharani Bagh, New Delhi.
TUSCO Ltd., a joint venture between THDC India Limited and UPNEDA, is spearheading this remarkable endeavour that aligns perfectly with the nation's vision of harnessing clean energy sources. With the foundation stone now laid, the project is set to become a beacon of progress and innovation in the realm of renewable energy.
The Prime Minister reiterated the mantra of nation’s development through the development of the states. He said that with a better economy, trust in the country grows and states also benefit from that as they get investment. He mentioned the global buzz around the high growth rate of the Indian economy as India is the only major economy that has grown by 8.4 percent in the last quarter. “With this speed, India will become the world’s third-largest economy”, said the Prime Minister, which will also mean high growth for the economy of Telangana also, he added.

Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL & Chairman, TUSCO conveyed his heartfelt gratitude on the foundation stone laying ceremony by Hon’ble Prime Minister and said that the 600 MW solar power project in Lalitpur marks a significant step towards achieving India's renewable energy targets and underscores the nation's resolve to lead the global fight against climate change.
The project, with a total capacity of 600 MW, is poised to revolutionize the energy landscape, not just in Lalitpur but across the state of Uttar Pradesh. With an estimated cost of Rs. 3000 crores, the solar park is likely to cover approximately 2700 acres of land. The 600 MW solar power project is projected to generate 1200 million units of electricity annually, contributing significantly to the state's energy requirements. One of the most notable benefits of the project is its environmental impact. Over a span of 25 years, the installation of the solar power plant in Lalitpur is expected to reduce emissions by approximately 21.6 million tonnes of carbon dioxide, making a substantial contribution to mitigating climate change and fostering sustainable development.

Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of 800 MW Chitrakoot Solar Power Park Project worth approx. 4000 Cr. to be implemented by TUSCO Limited at Tehsil Mau, District Chitrakoot on 18.12.2023. Shri Bhupender Gupta, Director(Tech), THDC India Ltd., Shri Anupam Shukla, Director, UPNEDA, Shri Manoj Sardana, CEO, TUSCO Ltd, Shri A.P Vyas, AGM (Chitrakoot), TUSCO Ltd,  and other officers of TUSCO Ltd were present in this ceremony.

TUSCO Limited organized various programs  under “Vigilance Awareness Week 2023”. In the programs, Mr. Manoj Sardana, Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Dhirendra Prasad Gairola - Senior Manager - Vigilance Department, Mr. Anil Badoni - Additional General Manager, Mr. Mridul Dubey - Deputy General Manager (Finance),Mr. Shashank Lal - Manager (M&A), Shri Brij Mohan Singh-Deputy Manager-Vigilance Department and all the officers/employees were present. As per the orders of Ministry of Youth Affairs, Govt. of India, the 4th edition of Fit India Freedom Run was organised this  year as “Fit India Swachhata Freedom Run” with the theme “Swachh Bharat, Swasth Bharat”. TUSCO Limited Lucknow, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot celebrated the occasion by organizing Group Walk on 28th Oct 2023. Total 56 No. of participants attended the event and covered 267.2 Kms distance cumulatively in all units of TUSCO Ltd.

TUSCO Ltd participated in the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS), which was organized and supported by the Government of Uttar Pradesh from September 21 to September 25, 2023. The event took place at the India Expo Trade Centre & Mart in Greater Noida.TUSCO Ltd secured a 24-square-meter space to set up its stall at UPITS - 2023. The TUSCO stall became a focal point of attraction for visitors due to its presentation of new and renewable energy through attractive physical and digital panels.TUSCO Officials at the stall provided information on company's profile and its objectives to all the visitors. Detailed information about TUSCO's ongoing projects and future planning were also shared with the visitors.Brochures about TUSCO Ltd & our Solar Projects were distributed among the visitors to showcase company's contributions and efforts in the field of renewable energy.
The TUSCO stall received remarkable volume of visitors, with an average of approximately 250 visitors per day. These visitors expressed great interest in learning more about TUSCO, and our present & future Renewable Energy Plans. The queries of all the visitors were satisfactorily addressed by our executives in the stall.The stall's design and planning were conceptualized & implemented through a specialized agency under the able guidance of our CEO Shri Manoj Sardana. Mr. Anil Badoni, AGM (Planning & Coordination,TUSCO Ltd), was the nodal officer for monitoring  all the activities related to UPITS. 

TUSCO Limited celebrated 4th Foundation Day on 12th September 2023 with  great enthusiasm and fervour at TUSCO Limited, Lucknow. Shri Manoj Sardana, CEO, TUSCO Limited, addressed the august gathering of employees and reflected upon the remarkable journey of the corporation over the past years. To commemorate the Foundation Day of TUSCO Ltd., employees of TUSCO Ltd. shared their experiences with TUSCO Limited.

On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day, Shri Manoj Sardana, CEO, TUSCO Limited, extended greetings to all the employees of the organization. TUSCO Limited celebrated the 77th Independence Day at its Corporate office in Lucknow, as well as in Jhansi, Lalitpur and Chitrakoot Power Plant Units on the 15th of August, 2023. Remembering the remarkable contributions of the Indian Freedom Fighters on this momentous occasion, the corporation's employees were infused with both a profound sense of delight and unwavering patriotism.Under "Meri Maati Mere Desh" Campaign, a solemn pledge was taken covering the Panch Pran of the Hon'ble Primer Minister, affirming commitment to the country.The employees also have been encouraged for Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan in which all employees of TUSCO Ltd participated with great zeal.

A land Use MoU/Agreement has been signed between TUSCO Ltd. & UPPTCL on 17.07.2023 for hand over of the required land to UPPTCL for construction of 220/400/765KV Grid Sub-station (GSS) at village-Khandi, Tehsil-Talbehat, Distt. Lalitpur for 600MW Lalitpur Solar Power Project. The power from 600MW Lalitpur Solar Power Project will be evacuated through 2 nos. 33/220 kV pooling sub-stations & further through 220/400/765 kV Grid Sub-Station to Main Grid.  
The agreement was signed by Sh. A.P. Vyas, AGM, TUSCO Ltd., Lalitpur and Sh. Vikas Gupta, Superintendent Engineer, UPPTCL, Jhansi. Sh. Vinod Kr. Jaiswal, Executive Engineer, UPPTCL, Jhansi, Sh. Vikas Kumar, Engineer Trainee, TUSCO Ltd., Lalitpur were present during the event of MoU/ agreement signing ceremony.

An Agreement has been signed between TUSCO Ltd & POWERGRID (PGCIL) on 21.06.2023 for the work of implementation of Internal Power Evacuation System for 600 MW Jhansi Solar Power Park by POWERGRID. The power from Jhansi Solar Power Project will be evacuated through 2 nos. 33/220 kV pooling sub-stations & further through 220/400 kV Grid Sub-Station to Main Grid. 

The agreement was signed by Sh. Manoj Sardana, CEO, TUSCO Ltd and Smt. Neela Das, CGM(Business Development), POWERGRID in the presence of Sh. R.K. Tyagi, Director (Operation), PGCIL, Sh. D.N. TUSCO Limited celebrated International Yoga Day at TUSCO Limited, Lucknow,Jhansi,Lalitpur and Chitrakoot on 21st June 2023. The event witnessed the convergence of all employees of office, all united in the spirit of yoga with great enthusiasm and fervour.

TUSCO Ltd and REC Ltd signed a loan agreement of Rs. 140.47 Crore at TUSCO office, Lucknow on 19.05.2023. The Loan agreement was signed in order to meet the capital requirement of under construction 600 MW Jhansi Solar Power Park. The agreement was signed by Shri Manoj Sardana, CEO on behalf of TUSCO Ltd and Shri Prabhat Kumar Singh, Chief Program Manager on behalf of REC Ltd and Smt Shailja Umrao Tripathi, Chief Manager on behalf of PNB.Shri Ajay Mittal (AGM), Shri Mridul Dubey(CFO), Shri Himanshu Bajpai (Company Secretary) of TUSCO, Shri Ali (General Manager, Finance), Shri Ajay (Manager, REC) and other employees of TUSCO Ltd and REC Ltd. were present on the occasion.

TUSCO Limited organised a Lecture and Discussion on the "Recognition of Contribution of Public Sector" on 13th April 2023 in the guidance of Shri Ranjit Ranjan, Assistant Professor, BBD University,Lucknow. An Essay Competition on "Contribution of Public Sectors in the Development of Nation" was also organised for the employees. 

International Women's Day is observed every year on 8th March to celebrate Women's Contribution to society, raises awareness about the fight for gender party, and inspires support for organizations that help women globally. TUSCO Limited organised a workshop/talk on the occasion of the International Women's day on 3rd March 2023 in the guidance of Dr. Jyoti Shukla, Assistant Professor,School of Management, BBD University,Lucknow.
